How we list studios
Where listings come from
Every listing is written from the studio's own public website. Our crawler identifies itself as LondonPilatesGuideBot, follows each site's robots.txt rules, and reads only a handful of pages per site, such as the home, contact, pricing and classes pages. We note facts only: the studio's name as it presents itself, its address and postcode, phone, email if published, booking link, the class types its website mentions, any intro offer it shows, and opening hours if published. We then write a short summary in our own words. We do not copy text from studio websites.
What it takes to be listed
- The studio's own website mentions Pilates.
- The website gives a postcode inside one of the 33 London boroughs.
- We could read the website. Studios with no website of their own, or whose website we could not read, are not listed yet. They can email us to be added.
Where one website lists several London studios, each location with its own address gets its own listing.
Borough and area
We place each studio by its postcode, using Office for National Statistics postcode data via postcodes.io (Open Government Licence v3.0). Area names come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL).
Order
Studios on every borough and area page are listed alphabetically. We do not score, rate or rank studios, and we show no customer review content or star scores. The filter buttons only hide studios whose website does not mention that class type.
Last checked
Every listing shows the date we last checked the studio's website. Studio websites were last checked 20 Oct 2026. Prices, offers and timetables change, so always confirm with the studio.
Featured spots
Any Featured spot sits in its own box above the A to Z list, is labelled Featured and Advertising, and names the advertiser. Payment, advertising or contacting us never changes where a studio appears in the A to Z list or what its listing says.
Something wrong?
Email [email protected] and we will check it against the studio's website and correct or remove it, usually within 7 days.
